Government’s Proposal to the Education System!
Following the lastest information about the half term-break, a strong warning is given to both parents and teachers who like harassing learners.
In regards, to the school opening tomorrow the following observations are made to guard the education system inorder to suit the current generation students.
From the trusted sources of information the Kenyan government broke its silence today by strategically placing a strong message in the evening hours of all schools within Kenya’s vast borders.
The Kenyan government declared today, 2nd March, 2024, that it has permanently banned requiring students to arrive at school earlier than 7.15 a.m., through Cabinet Secretary for Education Mr. Ezekiel Machogu both elementary and secondary educational institutions.
Addressing the press this early in the morning the following remarks were made regards on reopening of schools.
All primary and secondary school students in Kenya are required by law to report to class by 8 a.m. on school property, and they must arrive at school no later than 7 a.m. every day.
The Kenyan government claims that the immediate implementation of the ban was a calculated decision to give all students—especially those from rural areas—enough time to walk to school.
“No day institution of basic education and training shall require learners to report earlier than 7:15 a.m,” the regulations state.
Furthermore, students have been undergoing surgery punishment due to latenesses in the school compound which has injured strongly in their life.
