Following the lastest revelation from the TSC office, salary increments were adjusted to suit teacher’s lifestyle.
This is brought due to the financial strain currently pressing teachers in the education sector. The government of Kenya together with the Teachers Service Commission are working hand in hand to improve the status of teachers.

As per the lastest signed CBA, the basic pay for teacher grade C2 will increase by up to shs 4,164, C3 by shs 5,141 and DS by shs 4,883. These changes reflect the government’s commitment to enhancing teacher’s welfare.
In addition to the increase in basic salary also benefits like allowances are also given advantage to address the needs and roles of the instructors.
