The government of Kenya through the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) has announced some good news to Kenyans across the country after delivering Ksh500000 loans for the new year of 2024. Follow HELB website for more verifications :http://www.helb.co.ke
Following the trusted sources of information, the newly announced loans are for both current nursing students and for nurses who are already employed but yearning to further their studies and expose themselves to the latest trends and knowledge in the health sector.
Notably, the government also announced that the credit, which is named Advanced Nursing Education Fund, will only be accessed through the official HELB portal specifically by “nurses pursuing advanced and specialized courses in approved training institutions in Kenya.”
Should one succeed in getting the loan, he/she will end up receiving Ksh500,000 toward their tuition costs and the sum will be due over the course of five (5) years at an interest of only 4%.
Qualifications for one to get the loan.
1) Interested candidates must be current nursing students.
2) Nurses already in the job bracket but seeking to further their studies must provide three (3) recent statement of earnings (paystubs) confirmed by the employer.
3) One must be a Kenyan citizen and should provide a copy of the national identity card (ID)
4) One must submit a completed application form, which is currently available on the official HELB portal.
