Anticipated 2023 KCSE to be Announced at Moi Girls Eldoret.
Following the announcement made by the Ministry of Education, over 903,000 students who sat for 2023 KCSE will receive their results this Monday morning, 8th January, 2024. The announcement will be done from Moi Girls High School at Eldoret in Uasin Gishu county.

In a shocking turn of events, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Ezekiel Machogu, has announced that the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results will be released this morning Monday. This decision comes as a surprise to many, as the KCSE results are a crucial aspect of the education system in Kenya.
All the schools which were engaged in examination malpractices will face the consequences as we wait for CS Machogu to announce today, Monday.
According to sources, Machogu made the announcement during a press conference held at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Nairobi. He stated that the decision to remove the KCSE results was based on concerns over the credibility and reliability of the examination process.
“We have received several complaints from students, parents, and teachers regarding the accuracy of the KCSE results,” Machogu said. “After thorough investigations, we have established that there were indeed irregularities in the marking process. Therefore, we have decided to remove the results to ensure that the integrity of the examination process is maintained.”
Machogu further explained that the removal of the KCSE results would not affect the academic calendar, as the ministry would work to ensure that the students who were affected by the irregularities would be able to graduate on time.
KCSE Grading System.
Due to the extension of time to release exams, the grading system changed for 2023 candidates whereby, Mathematics remains to be the complusary subject.
English, kiswahili and sign language one of the performed is chosen as complusary subject also from the set.
Finally, the other five subjects were selected from the remaining highly performed subjects to make a cluster grading of seven subjects.
