Biggest question on board! “When is the examination out?” has been a common phrase in Kenya for the past few weeks after the Ministry of Education led by Ezekiel Machogu delayed the release of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results as expected by most Kenyans.

In a sudden twist of events, the Ministry of Education has now announced that Kenyans especially those who sat for the KCSE exams should expect the release of the results this week which is the second week of January as earlier stated by the Education Cabinet Secretary, Ezekiel Machogu. Since the ministry has made this announcement, in my opinion, the KCSE results might be released on Tuesday or Thursday this week.
According to reports from reliable sources, it has been revealed that the delay in releasing the results might have been caused by the new grading system unveiled by the Ministry of Education.
Consequently, the results are now ready to be released anytime MoE confirmed today while addressing the press.
Parents, guardians and students are hopefully for a good results as the Ministry of Education has taken time to analyze all malpractice which were observed during examination period. This comes out clearly after rumors yet to be confirmed about cheating cases and spotted schools engaging in the illegalities leading to some Centre Managers been suspended with invigilators and supervisors.
